Who This Privacy Policy Covers
Our privacy policy applies to personal information we collect through our website, our loan request form, our phone and email support, and any related pages or messages we send. Lenders have their own separate privacy policies.
We operate a free online service that connects U.S. consumers with independent lenders who may offer personal loans from $500 to $5,000. We are not a lender. When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean the operator of this website. When we say "you," we mean any visitor or person who submits a request. By using our site, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not submit the request form.
Information We Collect
We collect information you give us directly, information collected automatically from your device and browser, and limited information from third parties such as lenders, verification services, and analytics providers that help us operate the service.
Information you provide
When you complete the loan request form or contact us, you may provide:
- Identifiers, such as your name, home address, email address, phone number, and date of birth.
- Government identifiers, such as your Social Security number or ITIN, which lenders use to verify your identity and review your credit.
- Financial details, such as your requested loan amount, loan purpose, income, pay frequency, employment information, housing status, and bank account information for deposit of funds.
- Any messages, comments, or reviews you send us.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring website, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and the date and time of your visit. We may also record whether you started or completed the form.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from lenders about whether a request resulted in an offer or a funded loan, from identity and fraud-prevention services that help verify submitted information, and from advertising partners that tell us how you arrived at our site.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar tools to keep the site working, remember your form progress, measure traffic, prevent fraud, and understand which advertising brought visitors to us. Some of these tools are run by third parties.
Essential cookies allow pages and the request form to function. Analytics cookies help us count visits and see which pages are useful. Advertising and attribution cookies help us and our partners measure campaigns. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and many browsers let you send a Global Privacy Control signal. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the form from working correctly. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals where state law requires it.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information mainly to process your loan request and connect you with lenders who may be able to make an offer, and also to operate, secure, and improve our service and to communicate with you.
Specifically, we may use your information to:
- Submit your request to one or more lenders or lending partners in our network.
- Verify your identity and help detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the form.
- Respond to your questions and support requests.
- Send you messages about your request and, where permitted, information about other financial products that may interest you.
- Analyze how our site is used so we can fix problems and improve the experience.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

How We Share Your Information
We share the information in your request with lenders and lending partners in our network so they can evaluate it, and with service providers who help us run the website, process requests, and communicate with you.
Lenders and lending partners
When you submit the request form, you authorize us to share your information with one or more lenders, and in some cases with lending networks that pass your request to their own lenders. These companies may contact you, check your credit, and verify your information. Once a lender receives your information, its use of that data is governed by the lender's own privacy policy, which you should review. We may be paid for sharing a request, as described in our advertiser disclosure.
Service providers
We use vendors for website hosting, form processing, data storage, email and text delivery, customer support tools, analytics, and fraud prevention. These providers may access personal information only to perform services for us and are expected to protect it.
Legal and business reasons
We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect against fraud or harm; or as part of a merger, sale of assets, or similar business transfer, in which case the receiving company would be bound by commitments at least as protective as this policy.
We do not sell your information for money to data brokers. Some state laws treat sharing data with lenders for compensation, or sharing data for targeted advertising, as a "sale" or "sharing," and you may opt out of that activity as described below.
Your Choices
You can choose not to submit the request form, limit cookies through your browser, unsubscribe from marketing emails, reply STOP to marketing texts, and ask us to stop marketing calls. Some choices may limit our ability to help you.
- Email: Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
- Text messages: Reply STOP to any marketing text. You may receive one message confirming your opt-out.
- Phone calls: Ask the caller to place you on the internal do-not-call list, or contact us directly.
- Cookies: Adjust your browser settings or use a Global Privacy Control signal.
Opting out of our marketing does not stop lenders that already received your request from contacting you. To stop those messages, contact each lender directly, since they control their own lists.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed to process your request, provide support, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type.
For example, records showing your consent to be contacted may be kept longer than routine site analytics because we may need them to show that we followed consumer protection rules. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it so it can no longer reasonably be linked to you.
How We Protect Information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections for the request form, access controls, and limits on which staff and vendors can view sensitive data.
No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without permission. Please protect your own devices and passwords, and be careful with any message that claims to come from us and asks for upfront payment or your full account details. We never ask for a fee to submit a request.
Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Lenders generally require borrowers to be at least 18, or 19 in Alabama and Nebraska.
If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our site, please contact us so we can remove it.
State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain states, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others with comprehensive privacy laws, may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain uses of their personal information.
Depending on where you live, these rights may include:
- Right to know and access: Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients.
- Right to correct: Ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.
- Right to delete: Ask us to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to opt out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling.
- Right to limit sensitive data use: Where applicable, limit our use of sensitive information such as a Social Security number.
- Right to non-discrimination: We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
- Right to appeal: In some states, you may appeal if we deny your request.
Some information that lenders handle is covered by federal financial privacy law instead of state privacy law, so certain requests may be directed to the lender that holds the data.
How to Submit a Privacy Request
You can submit a privacy request by emailing [email protected] or calling (888) 927-0509, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific. Please describe your request and include the state where you live.
To protect your information, we will verify your identity before acting, usually by matching details you provide with the information we hold. You may use an authorized agent, but we may ask for proof that the agent is permitted to act for you. We aim to respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will tell you if we need more time or cannot complete the request and why.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our privacy policy when our practices, services, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date shown at the top.
If we make a material change in how we use or share personal information, we will give more prominent notice, such as a banner on the site or an email when appropriate. Continuing to use our service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Contact Us About Privacy
Questions or concerns about our privacy practices can be sent by email to [email protected], by phone to (888) 927-0509, or by mail to 2180 Maple Drive, Suite 653, Olympia, WA 98501.
We usually answer emails within one business day. If your question concerns how a lender handles your information, please contact that lender directly, since its own privacy policy governs data it receives.
Frequently asked questions
Will my Social Security number be shared with every lender in the network?
Your request, which may include your Social Security number or ITIN, is shared only with the lenders or lending partners selected to review it, not with every company in the network. Lenders need it to verify identity and review credit. Each lender then handles that data under its own privacy policy and federal financial privacy rules.
If I unsubscribe from your emails, will lenders stop contacting me too?
No. Unsubscribing stops marketing messages that come from us. Lenders that already received your request keep their own contact lists, so you need to ask each lender directly to stop calls, texts, or emails. Keeping a short list of the lenders that contacted you makes those requests easier.
Can I ask you to delete the request I submitted?
Yes. Email [email protected] or call (888) 927-0509 and ask us to delete your request. We will verify your identity first. Some records, such as proof of consent or fraud-prevention data, may be kept where the law requires it, and data already sent to a lender must be deleted by that lender.
